Plankton Touchwall Exhibit
Synopsis: Monterey Bay Aquarium contracted us to write all of the software for one of the largest multi-touch screens in North America as a part of their Outer Bay reboot. Video of the exhibit is here and here.

Synopsis: Contract software development for Android. Example App.

SnoShred
Synopsis: SnoShred is a 3D snowboarding action game for iPhone and iPad. Blast Off was contracted to complete the software that had already been prototyped and also consult on the iPhone development process.

Nimbus
Synopsis: Nimbus is a major refactor of the Code Monkey app. It's a mobile source code editor application for iPhone and iPad that supports numerous file services.
Tech: Objective-C / Cocoa. iPhone Developer Tools. DropBox SDK. HTTP to use REST API's for Amazon S3 and WebDAV.

Climate Change Exhibit
Synopsis: Monterey Bay Aquarium needed an interactive installation for their Hot Pink Flamingos exhibit. Blast Off was contracted to develop the real-time 3D simulation software. A custom cross platform Unity plug-in was written to meet the requirements of the project. Here's video of the exhibit in action! And here's another!

Mail Man
Synopsis: Mail Man is an iPhone application that uses the United States Postal Service APIs to provide pick up scheduling, tracking, and rates. Mail Man was the first app to offer pick up scheduling support. [details]

Bad News Robot
Synopsis: Bad News Robot is an iPhone and web app that delivers anonymous messages over the phone, email, and Twitter. The software will dial the number to be called from the servers and a robot will read the message to the recipient. [details]

BakersDog.com
Synopsis: BakersDog.com is an online retail store and web application that allows customers to upload their pet's pictures and have them printed on the labels. Blast Off developed every aspect of this software from the online shopping cart to the direct integration with the package printing pipeline. [details]

WildcardFantasySports.com
Synopsis: Wildcard Fantasy Sports is web application that users can use to pick fantasy sports teams. Thanks to a flexible architecture and comprehensive administration interface, unique and innovative games are created by the game moderators. [details]

Buzztime Trivia
Synopsis: Buzztime is known for their bar & restaurant trivia games. Blast Off was contracted by Buzztime and Microsoft to bring the trivia experience to Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. The project was scrubbed due to business issues between Buzztime and Microsoft.

Backyard Basketball
Synopsis: Atari contracted Blast Off to perform a major revision of their Backyard Basketball game for Playstation 2. This required working with a support staff from Game Brains based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Video Games
Synopsis: Blast Off founder Paul Reynolds has over 10 years professional video game development experience, 7+ years of which he worked for multiple game studios of various sizes as a software engineer. Past titles include: Backyard Basketball, Backyard Football, Backyard Hockey, NHL Face-Off, NBA Live, Triple Play Baseball, You Don't Know Jack, and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
